DAILY PROGRAM
DAY 1 – Arrival day
Bike fit and welcome dinner.
DAY 2 – the Godfather ride
Ride to Itala and Forza d’Agrò – 77km / 48mi 1180m / 3900 ft
Forza d’Agrò is a charming hilltop village with stunning views of the coast, that was also the location for the scenes set in Corleone of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather.
DAY 3 – Mount Etna
Mount Etna: 110km / 68mi 2280m / 7500 ft
Conquer Mount Etna, the most famous climb in the region. Experience the moon-like landscape of this active volcano, with a long, challenging ascent that will test your limits.
DAY 4 – Siracusa
Catania and Siracusa – 70km / 43mi 300m / 990 ft
Travel by van to Catania for a morning walking tour of the city. After lunch, enjoy a scenic ride to Siracusa, where we are going to spend the next few days.
DAY 5 – Natural reserve of Anapo
Anapo Valley – 115km / 71mi 1640m / 5400 ft
Explore the natural reserve of Anapo, a stunning area filled with lush vegetation, winding rivers, and ancient archaeological sites that transport you back in time.
DAY 6 – Noto & Pachino
Noto and Pachino – 110km / 68mi 700m / 2300 f
Ride through Noto, Marzamemi and Pachino. In Marzamemi we could catch a glimpse of flamingos, and marvel at the extensive salt pans that define the landscape, while Pachino welcomes you with its famous sweet tomatoes, a true taste of Sicily.
DAY 7 – Departure
Check out. On our last day, we savor the good memories of a fantastic week. Goodbye, Sicily—until we meet again!
RECOMMENDED CYCLING LEVEL
We welcome guests of any cycling ability, and do our best to accommodate them in all the Andiamo tours.
In our experience, we think you will enjoy this specific tour if you are a cyclist with good bike handling skills, ability to accomplish multiple climbs of moderate grade (6-7%), the fitness to be on the bicycle for 4-5 hours a day, and the ability to ride safely with other cyclists in a line.

The Nytro eBike is great for experienced riders who just need a little assistance going up some of our hills. The Nytro is a proper pedal assisted road bike (not a scooter). The motor has a maximum 300 watts, with 3 levels of pedal assist, The battery life depends on how the motor is used. (from 40km to more than 80km depending on elevetion)
