In our experience, we think you will enjoy this specific tour if you are a serious, experienced cyclist who enjoys long challenging climbs and descents, hours on the bike, and riding in fast pace lines with other experienced cyclists. The weather in the Italian Alps can be extreme, and experience on wet roads in cold temperatures is strongly recommended.

Arrival in Peschiera del Garda, to our headquarters Garda Bike Hotel, bike fitting, aperitif with the tour leader and overnight.
This trip begins with arrival at our home at Enjoy Garda Hotel/Garda Bike Hotel in centrally located Peschiera del Garda, where we can fit you to the perfect bike from our fleet. Meet other trip participants while settling into our time zone. Participants often add even more days at Garda Bike Hotel before or after the Andiamo experience so they can enjoy Lake Garda rides too.
Experience the iconic Stelvio Pass from the Prato side, renowned for its 48 hairpin turns and challenging ascent. The climb begins in Prato allo Stelvio and leads to an elevation of 2,757 meters (9,045 feet), offering breathtaking views of the Ortler Alps, including the Ortler peak at 3,905 meters. This legendary climb sets an epic tone for the adventure ahead.
RIDE OF THE DAY: STELVIO PASS
47 KM – 1880 M 29 MI – 6170 FT

The Gavia and Mortirolo loop from Bormio features a blend of tough climbs and breathtaking alpine views. Start in Bormio, ride towards Santa Caterina Valfurva, and tackle the Gavia Pass from the south. This 25 km climb reaches 2,621 meters, with beautiful views of the Ortler Alps. Next, head to Mortirolo Pass, climbing from Monno. Although this isn’t the hardest side of the Mortirolo, it still presents a demanding challenge with gradients above 10% and an elevation gain of about 1,100 meters over 12 km. After descending Mortirolo, you can either return to Bormio by van or continue cycling on the bike path from Grosio, adding another 500 m of elevation gain.

Cancano climb has been featured in the 2020 Giro d’Italia, it is famous for its stunning hairpin turns leading up to the Torri di Fraele.
RIDE OF THE DAY: CANCANO LAKES easy ride
31 KM – 800 M 19 MI – 2600 FT

Take a day off from cycling with a hike along the glacier path starting from Rifugio Forni. This route winds through landscapes shaped by the Forni glacier, passing glacier caves, and crossing two rope bridges before reaching Rifugio Branca with magnificent views of the Forni valley. Hiking for a day is a great way to experience the stunning scenery from a fresh perspective
HIKE OF THE DAY: GLACIER PATH
8 KM – 530 M 5 MI – 1740 FT

The Bernina Loop begins with a scenic ride along the Valtellina bike path to Tirano. From there, choose to either tackle the full climb to Forcola or take the Bernina Express train for an incredible view of the region, then ride the final distance to Forcola. From Forcola, descend to Livigno, a renowned summer training hub for professional cyclists. After a break, continue climbing towards Passo Foscagno before enjoying a long descent back to Bormio.
This ride is going to make a perfect end for our wonderful trip!
